Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If installing Linux as a VM, I recommend a faster computer. Android studio commands are ten times more complicated when running from a VM. If installing Ubuntu as a daily OS as an alternative to chromeos, you will have a fairly complicated install and I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you're pretty familiar with command line and partitioning. But I did achieve success and I would say if you can get past the hurdles and time it takes to install, it does make a good candidate. Get an open box though the install voids warranty.

I use linux but for only VS Code (front end trio and python) as well as Thonny for python and some Geany when I want a change of aesthetics from VSC and Thonny. Haven't had the need to install anything else so beyond that - no clue.
