8 cores, 16 Threads
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have to ALSO disagree! I REALLY wanted to believe the first answer, but I checked the model, a comparison site(which claims this processor is SLOWER than the fastest i7), AND AMD THEMSELVES! https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-7-3750h It is 8 THREADS but 4 CORES! This means that it has approximately HALF the speed of an equivalent processor with 8 cores(Which has 16 threads). AMD DOES have an R7 with 8 cores, and 16 threads, and it IS apparently the fastest processor that is so compatible, but the 3750H isn't it. ALSO, since even STORES like Best Buy apparently even try to hide this, and so many will disagree with me, even though I am right, the NAME, like Ryzen 7 or i7 means virtually NOTHING today! You have to get the chip NUMBER, like 3750H(The H or whatever is ALSO HIGHLY significant), and MAYBE even the GENERATION(although I think that is built into the number here), and go to the chips manufacturer site and get the details, and validate against benchmarks THAT ARE DETAILED as to the chip number., Even intel sometimes reduces the features, or the cores, in newer generations, so newer generations can actually en up SLOWER than older ones, even at higher clock speeds. Intel has even made processors that have only ONE thread per core, so they are slower also. FOR COMPARISON, HERE are some processors that should be faster!!!!! https://www.amd.com/en/support/cpu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-7-desktop-processors/amd-ryzen-7-3700x <<
