• Laptop has 1 normal 2.5" drive slot. Clone the original to your SSD and put it in :) You also have two m.2 SSD drive slots.

• I did ask the geek squad gut about replacing the drive with ssd drive and he said that shouldn't be a problem.previous version of this system actually had an expansion slot for a secondary drive. Not sure why asus decided to do away with second bay.
