• I'm sorry to give you a "I think" instead of a concrete answer, but I think the answer is yes. It is not user-replaceable, but either the manufacturer or Geek Squad should be able to handle the replacement. I remember reading that the battery packs are rectangular instead of cells to maximize the space in the laptop so I think they would be specialized replacements.
