“Is this good for college use? Will it be compatible with other apps and school wifi etc? Or will it be blocked because it is not a school owned Chromebook?”

I know it's great for wifi easy to use and any apps on Google play store you can load. It is just like a smartphone. And I know I can get on any wifi as long as I know the network name and passcode. I would check with the school about being blocked on there network.
