It's about 4.5 lbs I swapped my m.2 SSD from the 256 gb to a Samsung 1 Tb SSD and removed the 2tb spinning drive for better air flow and to lighten it slightly. It's faster and I hate spinning hdd' as they are brelics now . I got the 1 Tb around x mas time for only 120$ when it's usually 200$ Ave on Amazon it's about 160$ but then I would go Nvme 500gb Samsung m 2 . Yes it supports type c charging. I bought a 5$ cable that has 3 3.0 ports and a cat 5 port for times I need to hardware to my router. It works great and just is plug and play no drivers or complications.
