• yes three brightness levels and its white. Can be turned off and on too.

• Yes, and you can use function keys f3 and f4 to adjust brightness or turn off//on.

• Yes it is backlit. Find the settings for it to turn it down a little from the default.

• Yes, the computer has a backlit keyboard. You can toggle the lights on and off using FN3 and FN3 on the keyboard.
