• Unfortunately the computer doesn't have a blu-player. I'm sure I realized it when I purchased but had forgotten, I went to go watch a movie on it the other night and I was disappointed

• It probably can be replaced with blue ray but I think you need to shop for one yourself. As far as I know there not that many companies that make so thin optical drives. Asus is one of them. Contact Asus for a definite answer.
