• No, speakers do not come with this Asus monitor.

• I do not know if it comes with built in speakers. I have external speakers that I plug directly into the monitor. This eliminates me having to hook the speakers up to the computer each time I use it. I hook up to the monitor with an HDMI cable. The monitor has great video.
