• There is a icon of a speaker on the bottom right side of the monitor. Push the icon up to raise The volume.

• Try using the HDMI connection. I don't think that you'll get sound from the VGA connection. If you're using the monitor as a second monitor like I am, the sound could be defaulting to your primary monitor, which might require you to change your settings.

• You will have to connect the head phone plugs from your computer to the back of the Monitor. Should be a light green jack.
