“Problem not hearing sound from the monitor. I adjust the volume but when I test it - no sounds. I even made the monitor the default speaker, still no sound. I used a purchased HDMI cable connected to surface dock. What's the solution? Use earphone?”

• I have a similar problem. The volume on my monitor is very low and cannot be adjusted any louder. I also tried changing settings. I finally added a pair of speakers until I figure out what's wrong with the monitor.
