Can't answer dual monitor question but usually you need two video cards in PC. However, if I understand your second question correctly to see EXACT COLOR of printed picture on screen (as monitors tend to be much brighter than printer output) you need a monitor Calibration device and software that will set your screen to match printer output. An example of an easy to use device but somewhat pricey device is the Spyder 4 Pro. If you want to edit photos beyond redeye and brightness, you will need this device with even the best monitors. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has little buttons on the monitor you can use to create gridlines of various paper lines (letter, legal etc) and you can line your document/image with them to see how they will look when printed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using two of this "Asus - 27" IPS LED HD Monitors" for exact this reason. One monitor on HDMI and the other on the VGA connection of my laptop. It is very important that you adjust the color by going in your editing software to Monitor Calibration and follow the instructions. After that I developed one of my pictures and compared again the results with the monitors. I then adjusted the monitors to match the colors and contrast manually ... this process is very important and takes some time. Most laptops and desktops support only 2 monitors with there build-in video cards. To use also my laptop screen, I bought an external USB-HDMI-adapter ($40-80) and have in this way 3 monitors available. See attached picture ...

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.print drivers are different from display software for monitors. the only way to answer your needs is to try the equipment with your software. this monitor has the both connections but I am only using VGA.
