How bright is the blue LED? Is it subtle, or does it light up the room like a nightlight when room lights are off? null

Its subtle out of the box and if you don't like it you can adjust the brightness.

In the settings, you can control the brightness of blue LEDs. It even allows you to turn it off if that's what you are looking for.

It is pretty subtle, but it is in our kitchen and I actually have a nite lite in there too. It is not as bright as that, but I would guess it leaves a glow.

The light is fully customizable. You can make it bright is turn it off completely, or anything in between.

Actually, the blue plastic in the center of the "cave" does not light up at all. The only light I've noticed is a very small, single, dot above the ASUS logo (but below the blue "cave"). This small light does not stay on all the time. I noticed it light up for a a minute or so after turning on the router or changing settings.
