• Yes it will work. Do you plan on connecting the units wired or wireless? One way might be to connect a switch off the router unit and then use the nodes as wired APs. It would reserve some bandwidth for all those bandwidth hogs if use simultaneously. A more expensive option is the ZenWiFi AX Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi. It has 4-ports per node so you can wire local devices and mesh between two physical nodes. I have used ASUS for over a decade.
