• As long as you have a modem, the router should connect with little problems. However be sure to consult charter internet directly when you install it. I do know that people do have a hassle setting up various routers to correctly access the supplied Charter Internet Modems, and others that hook up with no problems what so ever.

• I have Charter and this router works fine with them. It's hooked to my Motorola surfboard cable modem and both work flawlessly. This Asus is faster and more reliable than my previous 3 Linksys routers.
