- Answer The specs say 12 GB of Ram max, so with 4 GB built in you can switch out the other 4 GB stick for an 8 GB. However, I have seen people max out at 20 GB by adding a 16 GB with no issues.

- Answer the Laptops usually does not include Microsoft Office in them. So either have to buy separately or download. Office 2010 for example. Some of the apps online are downloable .
