I can see why your asking because ASUS doesn’t really specify it’s distance. I have a two story 2300sf home and I have two ring camera approximately 75ft from the router and have no difficulty connecting to them of any other device in my home. Some sites have reported up to 100ft but consider your environment, obstacles and thickness and material of your home or apartment. I’m not disappointed!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Line of sight range is very good, but the performance through walls is still not where I would hope it would be. I have a 3400sq ft home and the router is in an open balcony area at one end of the second floor. the signal and performance on the first floor in the opposite corner of the house is not as good as I had hoped. still decent, but its pretty much 50ft with a couple of walls in the way on one side, but it's a fairly open floor plan. It is the best one-unit router that I have owned or tested. I'm a bit torn on whether I would recommend this router or an Asus mesh system. I really think it's probably worth paying to get the router hard wired in a location that is central on the first floor, and then have a switch at the second-floor balcony where my office is. I have a lot of devices in my office. Bottom line, this is the best router out there for a single unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The range on my router would have been better if I used a potato
