Q: QuestionDoes this adapter work with onboard moca on some routers/gateways, like Xfinity's XB8 that can output its own moca signal? Or do I need to buy 2 of these to install one at the router/gateway end? Many do work with onboard but I am unsure for Asus'.
Asked by Lego.
- A:Answer Yes, this MA-25 adapter can work with a router or gateway, like Xfinity's XB8, that has built-in MoCA signal on the coax cable. You only need one MA-25 adapter at the location you want to add an Ethernet connection, while the router's built-in MoCA handles the other end.
