Q: QuestionIn case of the battery losing the ability to hold a charge, could I replace the battery myself or upgrade to a better one?
Asked by Cash.
- A:Answer Its screwed in and uses a plug. You can at this time order a replacement from Asus. I can't say for how long the OEM will be available for. You can always try aftermarket/third parties, but thats absolutely at your risk and almost never recommended. As for 'upgraded', again the third party not recomended, but if size specs (power in power out heat) allow, not a good idea.

Q: QuestionDoes it have international warranty?
Asked by Zenik.
- A:Answer On most of their other devices its a no, however their pro art series could be different, if it is available then it would be a nightmare to process and you would be looking at long wait times to get it serviced. speaking on national repair Asus is relatively quick however since they use FedEx as their shipping service it often takes 2-3 weeks just to get to their facility. best advice don't break it, as it took 5 weeks for my asus ROG Flow X16 to get repaired and sent back.

Q: QuestionIf this laptop completely runs out of power (i.e. the battery is completely discharged), will a 65W or 100W USBC Charger bring it back to life (albeit slowly, while turned off)? The proprietary DC port is a non-starter for me.
Asked by Juan.
- A:Answer If this laptop was completely discharged or the battery was fully-drained, the 65W or 100W USB-C charger will be able to charge it, however, charging it will be slow. This laptop will not power on if the battery is completely discharged unless the battery was initially charged , even if a charger or AC adapter is connected to the DC-In port.

Asked by Bogeyman38.

Q: QuestionMight the RAM be upgraded, or is it soldered? Also, Could the harddrive be upgraded, if so, what is the maximum amount that will be supported?
Asked by ia24601.
- A:Answer You’re not going to want an answer from that particular Asus rep, who seemingly flunked math. I did watch a couple good YouTube videos on all the new models announced (or in some cases about to be announced). Indeed they all have soldered RAM. The 7500 MHz RAM is just too fast to be socketed. Also, although Asus does make 64 GB versions of some models, so far Best Buy has decided not to stock them, They don’t wanna be stuck with laptops with too much memory that nobody buys, so instead they’ll be stuck with laptops with too little (non-upgradeable) memory that nobody buys. One feature worth noting on this model is that it is a 2-in-1 model with 360 degree rotating hinge. By contrast the P16 I guess is not 360 degrees (after some earlier propaganda that suggested it was). Later there will be a PZ13 that is more like an iMac with detachable keyboard, but that one will have a Qualcom CPU - competing against M4 iMac I guess.
