“Is the GeForce RTX 4060 significant enough of an upgrade over the 4050 if I'm primarily using this for media creation (not games)? When on sale, the PX13 with RTX 4050 is significantly cheaper than the one with 4060.”

4060 has 8gb VRAM vs the 4050 6GB. The difference might be negligible depending on your media creation, however overall 4060 will be faster with rendering footage that is in LOG or ProRes or Raw. If you typically shoot 1080, 4K, or 4K LOG then the 4050 will be just fine, though if you shoot RAW or 8K, 4060 would be better. The 4060 also is supposed to draw less power and just be faster overall so again it’s up to your needs.
