Does the Bamboo ink pen work wit this laptop null

The Bamboo Ink pen will only work with the Q304UA 2017 model number B15T24 that has been upgraded to 8gb of ram and to be fully windows ink compatible. An active pen, including the Bamboo Ink, will NOT work on the 2016/early 2017 model B15T10 or B15T11 with 6gb of ram. Windows Ink is enabled on those models, but not active pen compatibility. My wife and I have been struggling with this issue since purchasing a Q304UA after testing one at Best Buy... But then discovering afterwards their display model is a B15T24 and not a more common (and significantly more affordable) B15T11 which we purchased.
