I would contact BestBuy. Mine is completely silent. I can't hear the fan at all. I think you may have an issue!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.speedfan. if you dare. I say this because i'm not sure what wisdom has gone into asus' fan activation decisionmaking. i'm also put off (ever so slightly) by the fan noise. i've been monitoring when it activates and it's consistently at 30c. so, you can try a few ways to keep temps down before messing with the fan programming: make sure the bottom's ventilated, check your task manager to see if asus' bloatware is making your system work harder than it needs to, delete bloatware if you haven't already. iobit uninstaller is a decent free uninstaller that's better than window's default app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will run hot when plugged in and charging battery at same time especially in higher performance settings. So fan will do what it is supposed to and run faster and louder to cool off the laptop. laptop runs a lot quieter when unplugged and just on battery. Especially with extended battery settings set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try to disable windows update.
