Not worth the effort- you are not likely to see the change you are looking for- 12 RAM is great for this version... In the past I used to upgrade RAM all the time- research this... This version of PC is a combined unit you will have to pop the keyboard and could cause damage. I have accomplished this with a previous older ASUS- possible but, you need a tine screwdriver for the 10 screws. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.@TheDude excellent question. I would also like to upgrade the RAM. BestBuys website says Ram expandable to 16GB. Not sure how thats possible if the Ram isn't removable...So there has to be a slot somewhere,right?
