• Had the back off the computer today - there is an m.2 slot, but we had no m.2 to test it with. Wish I had known before I bought the regular SSD.

• The laptop doesn't have m.2 port, you can only replace the 1tb drive to SDD.

• To my knowledge no. You would need to actually replace the drive with new SSD. This is the case with most laptops.
