No, this laptop is not user serviceable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't own this laptop so I'm not sure if it has a M.2 slot, but you can replace the mechanical HDD for a 2.5" SSD. Typically SSDs are more expensive, but are a worthwhile upgrade. A 512GB drive costs approximately ~$130-$150, and a 1TB drive typically goes for $250-$350. Of the drives on the market, currently Samsung is the most popular brand due to their known reliability, warranty, and they are the only company that makes both the NAND flash as well as the controller for the SSD. Many other drive makers will outsource either or both the NAND and controllers to third party vendors possibly resulting in questionable reliability. I've owned Samsung, Intel, and Crucial (Micron) SSDs over the years and needless to say, all have been reliable for me.

But no, there is only one drive bay and it's occupied by the 1TB drive that comes with the laptop. You can however replace it with an SSD as long as you have a way to replace your windows installation.
