“I've heard from other questions on different laptops that the GPU is physically able to be replaced, but extremely difficult. Is this the same with this laptop, and if yes, would I be able to get it replaced by a professional.”

No GPU is soldered to the board and to remove all of the pins to reinstall another would be problematic in the future. Asus board for this computer is a very low quality build and you would not want to mess with is as many of the items on the board is cheaply glued.
