It can be connected to a dock to provide more usb ports. Typically you would plug the power adapter from the ROG charger to the power input of your dock. Unless youre talking about a USB hub, in that case you would just plug it into one of the usb ports. Be advised that some usb hubs and docks require their own power to efficiently power the dock/hub.
