there are currently no gen 5 2230s on the market. however with the right dock you could get gen 5 over usbc 4 gen2

(Only Frameword Laptops are currently upgradable to my knowledge. :( )Sucks, because that means at the moment it’s limited to like 2TB of storage at max, but oh well, technology will improve eventually, and external storages are a thing.
