• There are 2 RAM slots in this laptop. It arrives with a single 8GB RAM module in one of the slots. The other slot is empty and ready for more RAM. I purchased an additional 16GB RAM module from Crucial.com for about $73 and inserted the RAM module into the empty RAM slot. (An 8GB RAM module would have cost about $38.) The memory works great, and I now have 24GB of RAM. You can download the Upgrade Guide from ASUS to show you how to remove the covers and insert the RAM module. Hope that helps.
