The CPU cooler isn’t what’s making the majority of the noise. The rear exhaust fan is what’s extremely loud. I would recommend replacing it with a Noctua or equivalent fan and maybe adding an intake fan. This would be a solution under $30 that won’t require pulling the CPU cooler.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you don't mind doing a case swap, fine a 50 dollar case and pop on an arctic freezer 240mm or 280mm liquid cooler like I did. It isn't the cheapest, but is definitely the best way to keep the 11700kf nice and cool. The og case doesn't have great clearance for large air coolers or any mounting points for water coolers. And no dust covers, which is pretty bad
