“How is the battery life with the Optimus mode? Does it get the 6+ hours they advertise on the asus website?”

• I get about 4-5 hrx max with silent mode. It doesnt live up to the advertisement. Maybe you can get 6 hrs battery life with just screen on and dont do anything with it.

• it may last 6 hours, but it depends on the use you give it during that time. Ex: if you're going to be playing all the time with a high resolution game and the sound to the max, it's not going to last that long

• Don't go by what the manufacturer tells you. I haven't used the battery much but I read that it barely even gets 4 hours. 6 hours might be if you are just on the laptop, doing nothing.
