“I heard that somewhat recently there was a power brick revision update that apparently reduces coil whine on this model. Does anyone know if this is true? Are the newer batches less likely to have it? Im very sensitive to high frequency sounds”

My model has a slight coil whine but you can only hear it for a second or two before the fans blast off and they pretty much overpower that noise. I also suggest a re-application of the liquid metal on both dies as asus does a terrible job with factory applications… overall it’s been a good machine, i just hate that i had to repair mine out of the box. It also supports 64 gb of ram.
