A:AnswerOf course, every 4K monitor I've thrown at it works flawlessly. Of course - using the C-Port from the Laptop to the monitor is by far the best.
I own (3) of these beast - and by far - I like it better than my 3080 which is always hot - the fans are always on.
Make surer you running Armoury Crate - then use Turbo or make a custom fan settings - so that when you play AAA-Games - your not waiting to cool your laptop down as you play.
Other uses - video editing/music etc - are a breeze.
Upgrades - put 2 16gb Stick in each slot for 32gbs. Put in (2) 1TB SSDs to give me 2TBs of disk space. (Best buy has a sale on these constantly).

A:AnswerNope! This is one of the only draw backs to this laptop for me. That said, pcie gen 3 is still stupid fast comparing to any mechanical hard drive or sata ssd.
A:AnswerI own (3) of these laptops. Never saw an issue - running great - mining 24-7 or playing games.
If you need to replace the liquid metal - I recommend you use computer services in your area - plus use the best liquid metal available. Some are not so good.
Since I'm quite sure AMD used one of the best metals - I figure I have 3 or 4 years before I need to worry about that. In any case - just keep an eye on your temps - it will be your
clue if the Liquid Metal is deteriorating. It will start out slowly - 3c to 5c higher temps - then gradually work it's way up to 10c or higher. I keep logs on temps over 70c.
Then it's time to find a Computer Shop that will redo your liquid metal. By that time - more good metal/paste might even be available. Check your fans at the same time,
and if needed clean or replace.
