I purchased one from Best Buy, myself. To be honest when it comes to mother boards. You can run into problems, which does not matter name brand. ASUS makes very good products. So with the D.O.A. board claim it's like playing the lottery. How was the product treated before purchase shipping, receiving, and stocking. I have this mobo. It worked from day one. If you have a problem they will exchange it, for a new one with in 15 days. There are a lot of factors to take in some are the people claiming it doesn't work, 90 % of the time is from lack of knowledge of how to install components properly, I.e the cpu, bending pins in the cpu socket. not plugging in the cpu power supply. So on. But if you look at bad reviews vs. the amount of stores across the country vs. comments the % is very low. So good luck also check reviews from various sources.
