Yes more than powerful enough for a mobile rig. Also, its lightweight so easy to travel with.

The CPU (8 core 16 threads 5900HS) is insanely powerful for a laptop and is one of the most powerful CPUs you will find in a product this size and vs bigger Laptops, it is still amazing (For reference I got a single thread rating of nearly 1500 on Cinebench R23 and multicore of around 12700 points, which is very good for a Laptop of this size!). With proper boost settings and utilizing the Amory crate software, you can very respectable gaming performance utilizing DLSS which comes with RTX cards, and the 3060 is no slouch with 1080p or 1440p gaming, especially since you should have no issues with CPU bottlenecking with the Ryzen 9 in this thing you can use the 3060 to its full capacity. In terms of work it will work great, it has a nice bright display and very good speakers if that's something you're into. Having great Srgb coverage (100%) and decent coverage overall it looks very nice and can even do some video/photo editing. Additionally having a pretty good fingerprint sensor is something I've found really nice especially since it has a feature that logs you in when you press the power button to turn on the computer instead of having to touch the power button again. I think you would have a great time with this laptop however if you are simply looking for a day-to-day laptop and don't plan to harness its gaming performance you may want to go with a lower-spec/ lower price version like the 1650 one. It also has a really nice feeling keyboard with stiff keypresses which don't give you that mushy feel of most laptop keyboards.
