Whatever you do don’t listen the person saying the G15’s RTX 3080 is more powerful than a desktop RTX 3070......that’s 100% flat out wrong and the person is just ignorant on the subject . That is just comical
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The config is the same as the previous version: 8gb soldiered with 8gb in the slot = 16gb. That is the only configuration that permits dual channel. The extra slot is upgradeable to a 32gb dim, creating 40gb of ram, but eliminates the dual channel. If you are gaming, you won't need more than the 16GB. If you are creating content, you should look at the 13 inch flow with the external 3080 option or the g15 with the internal (which is just better than the 3070 desktop version).
