- Answer Yes it will handle school work but this lil powerhouse was built to play some serious games. It good value for the price. The only drawback is that it has no camera for video conferences.

- Answer I’ve played a few games on here already such as Dead by Daylight and PlanetSide 2. It should be able to handle anything. I played both games without any trouble. If you would like to see a video on this laptop going into a lot more detail, I would watch GizmoSlipTech. The name of the video is 2021 Zephyrus G14 Review- Insane Performance in Less than 4 lbs (RTX 306, Ryzen 9 5900HS). I hope the video can answer any questions you have!

- Answer No it will not affect performance. Amongst other things you'll just be missing out on some networking capabilities. Just be careful when you're installing Windows Pro. I can't remember if there's a separate partition on the installed ssd by Asus as a backup for restoring options. Personally if it was me I would be ok with formatting the whole drive but I'm sure there's some out there that would more comfortable keeping it.

- Answer One of the sticks is soldered to the board, so you can only upgrade one 8gb stick. This shouldn't effect thermals at all, but sometimes using 2 different size sticks could cause stability issues though uncommon.

- Answer yes, I am a Cinema4d user I've rendered using octane works great! I just would not recommend for very long renders as it does get hot after a couple of hours at 100% gpu usage

- Answer It does, but Best Buy doesn't seem to carry it. Might be available when it finally launches on Asus store. The Asus store currently still carries the 2020 model with Ryzen 4900 and RTX2060 MaxQ.

- Answer The RTX 3060 in this laptop is a 65w version that can boost up to 80w. If you adjust your armoury crate settings to allow the GPU to maintain (or stay close to) it's 80w maximum, it will perform somewhere between an RTX 2070 Super Max Q and RTX 2080 Max Q in most games. The limiting factor is GPU memory as 6GB is on the low side for modern games, so you may have to play around with settings so that you're not saturating the vram.

- Answer I use it for deep learning. The Geforce RTX 3060 GOU is perfect card for deep learning. As you may know, the NVIDIA CUDA Deep Neural Network library is a GPU-accelerated library of primitives for deep neural network . The CUDA Geekbench mark for this laptop is off the charts , meaning it is very very good, See snapshot below for ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401QM benchmark
