But the noise is ok...it does good if you put it in silent mode (26.8 dba while hitting if full load) but there are other laptops do a way better job the new lineup of MacBooks are great and the ASUS Zephyrus G15 does better. Sidenote, mine came with some coil wine I don't know if that would affect the recording though.

A:AnswerThats your choice I have a 240hz monitor and it works great, but not many games can run at 240hz just light games like rocket league, it gets a little on the hot side but not to bad. But if I were you I would match the refresh rate of the monitor on the laptop and get a 144hz, but if you would like the extra smoothness when browsing or gaming (on light games) I would go 240hz its really your choice. I would just forget the 165hz all together.
