- Answer It has 1 RAM slot available to upgrade. 16gb of ram is soldered on. 16gb ram stick is populated in the free ram slot 32gb total on this machine.

QuestionI have looked at the specs and at the ASUS website, yet it is not clear me, what is the difference between this laptop (6800s/32GB RAM) and the lesser model (6800s/16GB RAM), other than that it has 2x as much RAM?

- Answer I tried to find out as well. I believe they have different screen panels. One being LED and this being IPS. This model is included with windows 11 pro, instead of windows 11 home, and the last thing i notoced was the RAM being able to only be upgraded to a maximum of 24gb. If im wrong on anything, please correct me.

QuestionI want a laptop that I can hold on to for as long as possible. How repairable and upgradable is this laptop? Are the fans, battery, SSD, screen, PSU, GPU, WiFi chip and ports repairable / replaceable? Also, can the SSD be upgraded? Max SSD TB?

- Answer The Model comes with 32gb ddr ram. So that is pretty much max at duel channel 16gb is soldered on and 16gb is a addon ram dimm. The ssd is a nvme m.2 you can upgrade it. Soon I’m going to get a 4tb replace the 1tb. The Wifi is wifi 6 the lastet Standard it’s too notch. The graphics is an 8gb 6800s which is comparable to the Nvidia 3060. The cpu is 6900hs 8 core 16 thread. It’s a nice machine. I got mine because of the animatrix for showing off pixel art and to compliment my 5900x desktop with the 3060 12gb video. Also has 32gb but is ddr4.

QuestionDoes this model have the QHD screen? Or the WQXGA screen? And if it is the latter, what is the difference in the color gamut between the two?

- Answer The laptop comes with a WGXGA. The difference is QHD has a 2560 x 1440 resolution and the WQXGA has a 2560 x 1660 resolution with 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy.

- Answer Yes, it does. You can even adjust and make your own. I would not recommend buying though. Just doing the simplest tasks take up so much RAM. I think the reviews below are fake af.
