“Is the battery user replaceable or is it soldered/hardwired in?”

• With a bit of work, it can be replaceable, but it doesn't just pop out like older laptops with a latch.

• Some of the screws to the bottom plate of the laptop are under little rubber pads, but once you get in, the battery, ssd, and half of the ddr5 4800 ram are all user replaceable. LTT has a video on the higher tier model of this laptop and they do a partial tear down.

• The battery is not "detachable". You have to open up the back cover and take it out. It has a wire harness and is screwed to the frame.
