I did some research, yes you can upgrade it to 32 GB. And, also no, Best Buy does not sell the 32 GB model. But yes your right, only the first 16gb of the memory will run in dual channel the rest will run in single channel. Also, its really not that hard to upgrade the RAM yourself, just pop off the back of the laptop (does not void warranty). If you need help there are countless tutorials on YT and Reddit.
