Q: QuestionIs it possible for me to install windows 8.1 for this particular laptop? I made the choice to try to install it but it seems like the drivers are not supported for this type of model. If anyone can let me know that would be great.

• A:Answer It is possible to install it, however as you mentioned the drivers are not supported. Only Windows 10 is officially supported.

Q: QuestionI have Sims 3 and Sims 4 both with game packs and expansion packs. Would the 2.3 ghz processor run both smoothly and quick with no freezing or skipping?

Q: QuestionBestbuy sells two versions of this same spec'd laptop. This one is listed as metallic hairline black and the other is listed as brushed black. What are the differences to the chassis between these two?

• A:Answer I own the metallic hairline black and in all seriousness, it just looks black. The back of the screen might be a different finish of black, but I can't spot a difference. No difference in chassis material or strength.

• A:Answer In short, yes. It depends on what you plan to do. Gaming is out of the question in 4k. Video and photo editing and other productivity tasks will work just fine.

Q: QuestionWhen I go into advanced display settings on this computer it says the chip type is a AMD Radeon Processor and the adaptor string is a AMD Radeon RX Vega 10. I thought this computer came with NVidia graphics?

• A:Answer I have looked long and hard at there website and other reviews. My guess is because with the specs I bought it with primarly the Nvidia 1060 TiMaxQ are becoming outdated. The same machine with the graphics CARD CHANGED TO THE 2060 VERSION are more prevelant . But expect to pay @ least 300 more. I dont need ray-tracing graphics as of now. This machine as is w / 1060 can still do most VRgames on the market.

• A:Answer Absolutely. It will run it and look amazing. It recommends some settings on High, but I turned them to Medium just in case, and it runs great. No frame drop.
