• No they do not, and since this has one of the 8gb ram soldered on its only expandable to 24GB and will then run in single channel

• I believe the 1st answer is incorrect. I believe you can upgrade the ram to 40Gb (1x32Gb stick @3200mHz) but it will run in a single channel config. I am sure the geeks have run plenty of benchmarks on the performance of various apps and games moving to this config. If you carry a heavy load (eg. are a graphic designer may be the extra ram is worth it)? There is a 32Gb dual ch version for sale that is made by a licensed ASUS dealer.
