Is 16gb or 8gb soldered onto this board? null

8GB is soldered to the board. There is a model with 16GB soldered to the board but it only comes in white and costs $500 more.

As already mentioned by the other comment, yes, it only had 8GB soldered on the board for this model; however, you can buy a 32GB 3200Mhz stick off Amazon for around ~$160, capping it of at a total of 40GB 3200Mhz. So unless you really need more than the allotted 40GB possible, I'd stick with this model and save a lot more.
