I got conflicting messages from ASUS as to the open-box laptop warranty. When I called ASUS customer service, I was told yes the open-box laptop for this model has the same one-year warranty. But an e-mail reply I got from ASUS customer support says that the open-box purchase only has 90-day warranty. Below is the exact wording from the ASUS e-mail reply: "Once the unit purchase is an open box, only 90 days warranty is provided for that device. In terms of Best Buy saying that you have the same 1-year manufacturer warranty from the purchase date as the new laptops have, you will need to verify that information with them."
