I don't believe the built-in display will do G-SYNC. I have not tried messing with the settings and setting the laptop display screen to the GPU and not the intel display driver - however I have confirmed when attached to a G-Sync capable monitor, it will output with G-Sync.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I fugured out that the built in display is not connected to the nvidia GPU, instead its connected first to the intigrated graphics. The type c on the right serves as a Display port as well and is more than capable of g-sync just need the right cable. No G-sync through HDMI port only freesync works.
