Ameet, I am actually one of the reviewers. I assure you that I don't get paid and it actually costs me money, time and effort to do these reviews. If you feel the reviews are missing something, post a comment on the review. I always answer comments on my reviews. Also, as you can see, I also read the questions and try to provide helpful answers. I don't get paid to do that either. So, If you want to know something specific, just ask.

Sure, there are some things that were pre-maturely said about the ROG M16 I'll admit. but overall it's great and is a good PC gaming experience. Heat blows out the back and hits the bottom bezel of the screen. Also, there are many Youtube videos on the laptop itself that will tell the whole story. Content creation I can't fully speak on because that's not why I'm using the M16.

I think for the most part, some of the reasons may be that other general reviewers will often lower star ratings based on something that is outside of the product itself. For example, shipping delays, tech support issues, inventory unavailable, damaged during shipping, etcetera. TIN Members rarely experience those things, and on the rare occasion they do, the TIN team quickly corrects it. I hope that helps

Please try again later.Actual user, not paid, don't use it for gaming but do use if for Adobe Create Suite, GIMP and Google Earth, also some other design programs for my business. And I'm a college student so it goes everywhere with me. I haven't had a hiccup, other than a learning curve (my last was an Alienware 17) as to how to customize to my liking, but whatever I can't figure out, I go on You Tube. I enjoy it so much; I'm buying a second one as a gift for my best friend. I'm trying to get used to Microsoft Edge, but still not loving it... that's the only bad thing I have to say about it.There you go!

I'm a software engineer, and tech enthusiast. My day job pays well over 6 figures. I put in as much time and effort testing products and writing reviews as I do for my job. I do it because I enjoy it, it's not for the money. Also we are not paid in the normal sense, we get to keep the product. But the MSRP amount is put on a 1099 which the IRS uses. Most items sell under MSRP n the marketplace, but we're taxed on the full amount regardless. If we choose to sell the product instead of keeping it, after selling fees and shipping the item there is very little profit left in it. We end up making about minimum wage, or depending on the price of the item we might actually lose money. So don't discount the reviews from us Tech Insiders. You are getting skilled people who do this because we care and we're interested. With our reviews you get more technical information than an average person would be able to describe and provide.
