I left my 240W main power supply out of town on accident. So I had to use the 100W usbc for a couple weeks, and I could game on it. It DID use battery but it was a slow drain. But I never ran out of juice, even after 5 hours of intense workloads. Would not recommend doing this long term for battery health, but in a pinch its good. The thunderbolt 4 port supports the 100W charging. (The C port closest to the back)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the laptop will not charge using a 100w USB-C charger, it can only be charged using the supplied charger or AC adapter. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port will support charging. It will drain the battery, while charging, if the laptop is not connected to the AC adapter.
