It also has dual band (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) to support old/cheap devices (example: Wyze indoor cam that connects only to 2.4Ghz). HTH

If your going to get this router, upgrade your cable modem to get the full benefit. I upgraded my ASUS router and speed was improved but it really jumped after I got a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem and I don't have 1 GB internet (yet). I have a 4000 sq ft house (basement, main floor, top floor with bedrooms) and the range is excellent.
