I play Call of Duty MW3 and had this issue when running in Turbo mode. The CPU was always pegged at 95C or so. I researched and changed the mode to Performance and the CPU would run a bit less cooler and the fan would not be so loud. I believe the trade off is that it slightly lowers the CPU frequency in this mode but not enough to impact performance that I can notice. You need to use the ASUS utility to change the modes.
